Good morning my beautiful readers! It's been a while since I've stepped away from social media, and actually posted something on my blog! My new years resolution has been to post more. For the majority of January I have been planning a proper blog/instagram schedule, and getting organized! I think I am finally on track, and able to balance work, life, and of course BLOGGING! I just want to give a quick shout out to everyone for supporting me, and staying active on my social media pages. I appreciate all the kind words, and I can really see how loyal my readers are - So thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

To start off the year, I am bringing you Arbonne. Smoothed Over Lipsticks! I was recently contacted to review these lipsticks, and I jumped on board as soon as I heard about them. These shades are BEAUTIFUL! I have been really into nudes lately, and have been on the hunt for the perfect shade to match my pale peachy skin! I am very picky when it comes to my lipstick shades. I will spend hours in the beauty department swatching, and will have makeup stains from fingertips, to elbow trying all sorts of colours! Is anyone else like this?

The nude shade is called Willow (purchase here) retailing at $34 it is the perfect sultry nude tone that will pair flawlessly with a bold smoky-eye for a night out on the town! I think this shade is a very versatile colour, I am able to wear it at work with minimal makeup, just a touch of blush and mascara- and then really transform it for night time with a smokey eye!

The bright shade is called Currant (purchase here) retailing at $34 this is the perfect red to set the mood for a special day! I tend to stick to more nude colours throughout the week, and the on the weekend throw a splash of colour with a bold lip. I'm going to be wearing this shade tonight out with the girls, and I'm so excited to hear their opinions!

These shades are PERFECT for valentines day - and I'm so excited to incorporate them not only on the special day, but in my every day wear as well. These lipsticks are formulated without gluten or parabens and are also dermatologist-tested, hypoallergenic and vegan - which makes this lipstick even more versatile, and really suitable for everyone! I find that these lipsticks are very moisturizing. You can even see in the swatch below how creamy they are! They don't dry your lips out at all, and leave your lips feeling so healthy, and luscious.

Recently I have been experimenting with new skin care products. A couple months ago Vichy was kind enough to send me a little package with their new Vichy Idealia products. After testing this product over the past couple months I feel like I am able to give you guys a complete honest review. This line is supposed to instantly make your complexion look radiant, and fresh with a more even tone. Your pores are supposed to appear tightened and skin texture will feel refined. Your facial features will look rested and skin will look younger and healthier. So basically - this is supposed to be the fountain of youth in bottle - Right? Now I'm not saying I'm "aged' and I definitely do still have very youthful skin however It's never too early to take care of your skin and I believe the Vichy Idealia line is your place to start!

Adult Colouring Books: Enchanted Forest

Adult colouring books are becoming a huge trend. Everywhere I go I see them being sold, in various different themes, and complexity. I have always had a creative side to me. I took art all through high school, and went into college for Visual Merchandising Arts. When I found out that adult colouring books were becoming the new 'hot trend' of the season the inner child in me was screaming with excitement. While browsing the colouring section in Indigo I found "Enchanted Forest - An Inky Quest & Coloring Book" by Johanna Basford. This colouring book is SO magical - and filled with tons of whimsical drawings. 

Yoshi's Woolly World

It's no surprise that I'm a HUGE fan of Nintendo. I think the majority of us have grown up playing some sort of Nintendo game - for me however, It started my entire gaming "addiction". I think the games are so universal, and it appeals to such a wide audience. Wether you are 9 years old, or 99 years old - Everyone will have fun, and it is guaranteed to make everyone smile. 

On October 16th Nintendo released Yoshi's Woolly World exclusively for the Wii U. This is the first time in a Yoshi game where two players can play through the ENTIRE story in local multiplayer. I'm not going to lie, when I first played the game at the media event I immediately thought of little big planet. Yes the game is VERY different - but there are some similarities, and with that being said I picked it up pretty fast. This is a great way to play with friends who want some fun competition. You are working together to complete the levels however at the very end your scores are compared to see who really emerged victorious!
