Flirt Custom Lash Studio: Burlington - GIVEAWAY!

Recently I recieved the opportunity to visit Flirt Custom Lash Studio in Burlington, Ontario. I am a huge fan of long beautiful eyelashes - as I assume many of you are as well. In the beauty community there is always that one fun question we always get: "What makeup product would you take with you if you were deserted on an island?" My answer was ALWAYS mascara!

I had known about eyelash extensions for a while, but never took the jump to try it out! About a month ago I visited the Flirt Custom Lash Studio for my very first set of full luscious lashes and I was extremely impressed - so when I was invited to come back a month later to get my lashes done by Delanie I immediately jumped on board!

My very own "lash fairy" was Delanie. When I walked into the studio I was immediately greeted by a friendly smile, and she had me laughing in minutes. The whole environment was so friendly, and calming. The room was filled with dimmed candles, a perfectly made bed was set up for me, and the decor was so chic I felt like a celebrity! I'm not going to lie, I get some anxiety when going to appointments - even if it's for something fun like lash extensions! I was instantly relaxed when I got there, and that doesn't often happen for me. The room is just so cozy, and Delanie treated me like an old friend!

My lashes to begin with were very short, and life-less. She placed pieces of tape under my eyes as well as my eyelids to start her work! Not going to lie, the photo looks like something out of a horror movie - but I assure you - I didn't feel a single thing! The tape was very comfortable, and didn't effect me at all.

The lashes took about 1.5 hours to complete - We spent a majority of this time chatting about life, our blogs, and old high school memories. I also got an amazing "lash nap" - The whole experience was so relaxing, that I was able to fit a little snooze in! When Delanie was all done with her work, she checked my lashes to make sure they were full and beautiful - and then took off the tape for me to get a look! I was shocked at how AMAZING they looked! They are so full, and they make my eyes pop! Below are the after photos!
